National Golf Club of Canada - Art
National Golf Club of Canada - The Contour
Architects: Gensler. In collaboration with CNC Cutting Inc.
Team: Alec Ng and Arnold Otiz
NGCC would like to present something new in their newly renovated dinning room that will refresh the club atmosphere to a new level. We propose to design an art work that is inspired by the infamous National Golf Club landscape contour. We transformed the contour of the site into a framed art form and will display in their main dinning facility. The art work is created in high density foam with CNC cutting.
There are 1975 bamboo golf tees pinned at the surface of the foam representing the high and low point of the contour. 1975 is the year the National Golf Club was built.
